FMF TOP 100 12/22/22

This year, it'll take place on the 22nd of December, and it'll hopefully be bigger and better than ever! Note that this year, to encourage people to vote on each other's songs, nominations will be limited to 15 songs per person, while everyone gets 30 votes. Nominations stay open till the 11th of December at noon, after which voting will open.

Christmas Dinner 12/19/22

Borrellecture: Rifka Vlijm 12/13/22

Educacie are excited to announce their first borrellecture of the year, given by Rifka Vlijm! Rifka specialises in biomedical physics with a particular focus on super-resolution microscopy and image analysis. This is an area that most of us don’t get much exposure to in our courses so it’s exciting to get to learn about it!

Ice Skating with YER 12/7/22

On Wednesday 7th December we will go ice skating with FMF and YER at Kardinge. If you have your own skates, feel free to bring them along! You don’t have ice skates? No problem! We'll rent skates for you. Before the ice skating we will eat some fries and snacks together.

Formorrow Pubquiz 12/1/22

Do you enjoy showing off the little pieces of trivia you've built up over the years? Or do you perhaps just want to have some fun with your friends and learn some cool facts along the way? Come along to our pubquiz!! We'll be testing our knowledge on December 1st, at 17:30 in the big lecture hall in the Nijenborgh (NB 5111.0022).

Schoentjes zetten 12/1/22

With the beginning of December comes the Dutch tradition of Sinterklaas, where children leave their shoes on their doorstep for Sinterklaas (Saint Nicholas) to fill with pepernoten, oranges and sweets. Stop by FMF on the 1st and 2nd of December to color in your own shoe to leave out for the lovely Sint to fill!
